About Talent Praxis
The definition of Praxis is to bridge the gap between theory and action.
At Talent Praxis we are on a mission to help leaders turn their ideas into action to achieve their goals. We do this through training, coaching, and consulting.
Training is instructional. A facilitator in a one-on-one, group, or e-course will provide guidance to help participants learn and apply our best praxises. These tools give leaders a strong foundation to manage results-driven teams.
Coaching is a partnership based in questions and observations to help evoke awareness, consider things from different perspectives, and find a strategic path forward. Coaching is best when there is a specific goal in mind without one definitive solution.
Consulting is available to help company leadership build a culture of praxis.
Strategic leaders build high performing teams.
Develop your strategic leadership skills by exploring opportunities, practicing proven strategies, and defining a plan for tangible outcomes. A Talent Praxis leadership coach is a partner to help leaders consider new approaches to leadership challenges or opportunities and build high-performing teams.
We help leaders to:
Set and achieve impactful goals
Manage their team for high-performance
Nurture strong relationships
Work and lead intentionally
“Talent Praxis Coaching has elevated me as an effective leader. The commitment from their team to ensure I grow during this program is greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping me succeed in the future!”
“This has been a life-changing experience. Learning how to transparently open up about the realities I face in the workspace and be able to self-reflect on my strengths and areas of opportunity has made all the difference.”

Meet the Founder
I am Chelsea Seid the founder and CEO of Talent Praxis where we bridge the gap between theory and action. I take management tools and leadership theories that come from academia and professional research and make them accessible for managers and leaders in unique coaching and training programs to build more results-driven teams.
As a boutique firm, we offer a high-touch, specialized experience that is more attuned to the needs of our clients and organizations. We work with a core group of expert leadership coaches.
Before Talent Praxis I co-founded Marlow, a professional development platform offering coaching and activities to help emerging leaders, managers, and senior leaders reach their career goals. At Marlow I led coaching, building scalable coaching processes and an impactful curriculum. I also partnered with all of our companies to customize Marlow’s programs and support them in achieving their talent development goals. While at Marlow, I coached a range of leaders across industries from emerging leaders to executives.
With a passion for building engaged teams and unlocking potential, I have spent my career leading internal operations and HR in a variety of industries. My experience includes working as the operations manager to the COO at the Brookings Institution where I was the co-lead in the Women’s Mentoring Network and founded the Institution’s first mentoring program. I was also an early hire at two startups, Patreon and Clara (acquired by SoFi), where I built the operations and HR teams during rapid team growth, fundraising, and acquisitions.
I am a certified ICF PCC coach and have an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Additionally, I co-founded and am the Chief Strategic Officer at the Trio Coaching Academy where I train coaches in business skills and teach and mentor in ICF core coaching competencies.
Outside of Talent Praxis, I am a community builder and mentor in Atlanta. At home, I am an avid gardener and a dog lover. My husband and I have a menagerie of pets including a corn snake, leopard gecko, and fish tank. I love traveling, exploring, and getting outdoors. Family is very important to me, being a mom to two sons.
Partner Leadership Coaches
At Talent Praxis, we partner with a very select group of experienced coaches, certified with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and experts in talent development, leadership, and people management.
All leadership coaches are ICF Professional Certified Coaches (PCC) with a master’s or doctoral degree in relevant fields, and 5+ years of experience:
Working one-on-one coaching leaders across a variety of industries
Working internally in talent development, HR, or L&D
Working in a management or leadership position
We believe management and leadership are ongoing practices, not skills to learn or master once. As a leadership coach, our role is to act as a partner, believe in the capability and skills of our clients, and help them build sustainable practices as managers and leaders to achieve their goals.
